In Scharbeutz, Gumda's play beach always offers a program for pirates, treasure hunters and beachcombers, and when the weather is bad, bathing in the Ostseetherme with various water slides is fun.

You can easily reach the neighboring water ski lift and a bathing lake by bike or even on foot.

Hansa Leisure Park, Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg, the Sea Life Center in Timmendorfer Strand, the  Adventure forest Trappenkamp with natural playground, cowboy fort and butterfly garden or Karl's strawberry farm in Warnsdorf never let boredom arise.

The forest high ropes course in Scharbeutz is also exciting, as is a visit to the museum village in Molfsee, the Wall Museum in Oldenburg, Lübeck's old town or the port of Niendorf.
